Baked Potatoes

 

 

 

We learned this method of baking potatoes from a health professional.

By following this method, it changes, somewhat, the starch to a protein.


  • Wash potatoes and place on oven rack.

  • Bake at 500 for 20 minutes.

  • Lower temperature to 250 and bake for approximately 40 minutes,

or until done (fork will go into potatoes easily).

 

Note: These can be baked either directly on the oven wrack,

if you want a tougher skin

  or

wrap with aluminum foil, if you want a more tender skin
